Avril Gau designed her first shoes in the 1980s at the renowned atelier of Robert Clergerie. In 1990, she moved to Chanel, where she created eleven collections. Avril went on to launch her own brand in 2002. Inspired by the French films of 1960s and 1970s AVRIL GAU shoes are romantic and beautiful, yet practical for the modern working woman.  What could be more chic than the ballet flat?
