Dove Pink at the Pictures

Dove Pink at the Pictures will feature a simultaneous, nationwide screening of the movie classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s at Event Cinemas on October 26, 2011 with all proceeds going towards helping The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation continue vital research for finding a cure.

Tickets are $20 per person, with the full ticket price donated to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation and Dove is aiming to raise a total of $100,000 to aid research to find a cure for breast cancer.

“We are thrilled to be taking the Dove Pink activity countrywide. Our hope is that this event will bring together more New Zealanders than ever before in united support to win the fight against breast cancer “said Sharon Parker, Unilever Marketing Director.

Don’t panic if you live outside the designated Event Cinema locations, because at home DVD packs will be available for a donation of $20 from October 3, via the Dove Pink at the Pictures radio partner – More FM.

These packs have been designed so you can host friends and family, and you’re encouraged to start the enclosed DVD at 8pm sharp, to ensure the viewership is unified across New Zealand.  The packs will also include popcorn, Next magazine and Dove product.

Each year, more than 2,600 New Zealand women are diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 600 women tragically die from the disease.

Over the past five years, Dove, a Pink Ribbon Platinum Partner of The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, has raised more than $300,000 through its annual Dove Pink Star Walk and limited edition Dove Pink Range.
