So, as I said last week, New Zealand Fashion Week is quickly approaching, and after last week’s designer announcement I’m so excited about the event.  Last week’s announcement confirmed the biggest list of designers in NZFW’s history, to show at the tenth year of the event.  You can read the full list of designers, plus other exciting announcements about the fashion calendar’s biggest event here.  Plus, as I’ve said in the past, I love that NZFW supports emerging talent; of course, you all know about the fabulous ‘New Talent’ competition, which has brought some talented new faces into the spotlight. And now event sponsor Westpac has again announced the launch of the inaugural ‘Young Designers’ competition.  The competition is open to new designers, final year fashion students and graduates, so if you’re an aspiring designer get your entry in quick. You could be showing your collection on the runway at NZFW! And of course, last week was also a very exciting week for me, having the opportunity to interview UK celebrity stylist Gok Wan.  He was so friendly and genuine, and such a pleasure to meet.  I’m quite a big fan of his so I did get a little bit star struck!  Check out my interview with Gok and read his style tips here.
