From the Editor: 17 September 2013

I always find this is such a weird time of year figuring out what to wear. I feel like it's time for a huge clean out to ditch all those winter clothes I’ve absolutely thrashed and, if I'm honest, I'm a little tired of wearing.

I'm ready to make way for some fresh and summery purchases. But each year I end up getting rid of things I still need to wear because it can still get pretty darn cold in the mornings.

Then, by the same token, it can get pretty darn hot in the afternoon too!

And without having to treat each day like a celebrity wedding with multiple changes, one clothing layer or open shoes, just doesn’t cut it in the trans-seasonal dressing stakes!

Also, cooler months definitely allow for a little more comfort, with those bulky layers and firmer fabrics hiding a multitude of sins.

Now, as we head into the season of short wearing and sun dressing, I’m not too sure if the limbs, which have been happily hibernating in 120 denier tights, are in any shape to be exposed just yet. And to be honest, I’m a little too scared to check.

But alas, I've been told that every problem has a solution, so I’ll just need to put my thinking cap on. I’ll let you know how I get on!
