From the Editor: 26 June 2012

There's a lot happening in the shoe department in this week's Fashion Report.

Pips Shoe Blog “Pumped up Kicks” tells us how celebs are working the “high top” into their everyday wardrobes. Not only do they look chic but the practical comfort factor makes this trend a winner in my books.

I have to breathe a sigh of relief that the glam sneaker has been updated into a more steamlined and elegant version than that of the platform/Spice Girl-ish sneakers that, many young women (including myself) were wearing back in the late 90s. Reminiscing about my fashion failures does bring a small twinge of cringe however, I know I am not alone here. If this is you, I’d love to know what colour your sneakers were...mine were tin-foil silver.
