From the Editor: 31 July 2012

So last week was pretty exhausting, fun - but exhausting! It's that time of year when many brands are launching the start of the new season fashion and footwear and each season, PRs and companies become a lot more creative in bringing these great brands to the market.

The NumberOne Shoes launch at Britomart Country Club was the perfect setting for a mild Auckland morning. The event titled Urban Picnic, was deliciously catered with club sandwiches and snack-sized pastries (I must have been hungry) and I thoroughly enjoyed a surprise performance from Zowie.

I’m pretty sure this was the best picnic I’ve been too!
 
The shoes? Well, it’s been really hard for me to decide which ones to show you so you’ll have to keep checking FashioNZ.co.nz this week, when we have a closer look at the three main trends of the season.

Also on last week was the launch of the Stella McCartney Lingerie collection, but I’ll let Julie tell you about that in this week’s FreeStyle...
