Backstage after her first solo NZFW show last night, Liz Turner of Riddle Me This seemed remarkably lively for a girl who’s been living in a whirlwind of creation, creativity and creating these past few weeks. Like her collection, By B.B. Bang, the young designer – only 23 – clearly has a knack for reconciling “young and crazy” with “balanced”.

Andrea Moore NZFW 2012 Review

Andrea Moore set the scene for her ‘The Hunt’ AW2013 collection with the sound of horses hooves on gravel. The themeing continued with the models wearing black hats with ponytails tumbling down their foreheads like manes. I have to tell you, the writing of this doesn’t really do it justice but it was the most cohesive theme thus far at fashion week. Loved it.

NZ Weddings Magazine Collection NZFW 2012 Review

Guests arrived at the Weddings Collection show today to find a beautifully floral lined runway entrance. Music then quickly followed, with birds chirping happily in the background, creating a very elegant, almost outdoorsy theme for the show.
