Caroline Sills opens the first ‘Sills’ store in the country

Caroline Sills first Sills Store opened its doors yesterday in Hamilton’s desirable Casabella lane.
Located in the heart of the city this attractive lane boasts a feast of designer stores including, Ruby, Bird, Maude and Bella, and some more quirky stores offering antiques, literature and home wares, making it a destination well worth visiting.
The tasteful, fresh and pared back interior of the new store, which Sills enlisted the talented duo of Bryan and Hilary Skinner to design, provided the location for the launch.
A colourful and bustling crowd of well-dressed Hamiltonians filled the spacious and elegant interior, enjoying delicate finger foods and champagne as they mingled and perused the meticulously merchandised racks with pleasure.


Caroline and Lloyd Sills hosted the event with their two daughters Toni and Christina Sills.
The lovely Lou Rouleston, who has been appointed to manage the store was radiant, this local lady has an in-depth knowledge of fashion and offers exceptional customer care which was evident on the night.
The design team from Auckland of Richard Moore and Ange Todd took time out from designing Summer 2012 to travel down to enjoy the opening.
Originating from the desire to produce a high standard of women’s fashion that will withstand the test of time, Caroline Sills launched her label more than 25 years ago.

Her talent, charisma and desire to satisfy this end have resulted in a respected and covetable brand that has etched out and maintained a loyal and secure market share. Her passion for quality is the backbone of the brand in which she now performs a Co-directors role.
She is passionate only the finest yarns and fabrics from around the world are used and is relentless in ensuring garments are well cut and most importantly flattering.
The store is the first Sills store in the country and will showcase the collections of Caroline Sills, Calliope and Essentials in their entirety, in addition to the main collections in - season styles will be designed and dropped into store on a monthly basis to fill gaps and keep the store exciting.
