Samoan sisters Agnes, Jackie, Gina and Charlene Loheni created their label in 2002 after growing up learning about designing and dressmaking from their Mother Mena, after whom the resort wear label is named. Each collection is the merging of the unique design styles of each of the Auckland born and raised family, with a strong emphasis on the vibrancy and richness of their Polynesian heritage.

The designers of MENA believe that resort wear is all about effortless style and that it extends beyond the beaches and resorts to work wear and nights out in city.
