Until the Light Takes Us - Jimmy D AW11

After talented young photographer Oliver Rose beautifully documented the backstage action at the Jimmy D A/W 11 show at NZFW last September – he then approached the designer to take things a step further and create a film inspired by the themes within the collection.

This season’s goth-girl muse inhabits a new cosmic-egg world of black metal imagery, creation theories and alchemy.

The slick, textural hair was created by Fudge Auckland Educator, Robyn Wayper, which perfectly suited the dark, multifaceted tones in Jimmy D's collection.   Products used were Fudge Hair Gum on the crown, Salt Spray for textured ends and cult favourite, Membrane Gas to set everything perfectly.
