Fashion Weekend is all about fashion, music and good times.

While New Zealand Fashion Week was traditionally an industry-only event, New Zealanders’ love of fashion has driven us to create a number of great Public Events for you to enjoy.

In 2011 Fashion Weekend will open it's doors for the 6th time to the public. It is the mix of what's on offer that makes this event so special. It is hard to live in New Zealand and not feel a sense of excitement generated by the publicity and hype around the trade event (NZFW), making Fashion Weekend the way for the public to be involved.

Sunday Star-Times Designer Garage Sale
It's back! Fashion Weekend includes the hugely popular Designer Garage sale which is open from 5pm to 9.30pm Friday and 10am to 6pm on Saturday. 

Music in The Absolut Studio and KMS Cutting Room
Catch Mel Parsons, Iva Lamkum, Ivy Lies, Young Lyre, and People of Paris on Friday night in the Absolut Studio while in the KMS Cutting room you can listen to Djs Harry Halpin, Sweet Mix Kids, Thomas Sahs and Seth Josephs.
On Saturday in the Absolut Studio see Artisan Guns and Dane Rumble! Djs in the KMS Cutting Room features James Ashwin, Connor Nestor & Tommy Bates and Jarrod Phillips.

Seminars:
Come down to The Studio on Saturday Morning and catch a seminar presented by: Servilles, Smashbox Cosmetics, The Face Place, The Fashion Museum and Absolut Mixology.
