Mecca Maxima to open in Auckland

Auckland beauty fans are finally getting their own Mecca Maxima store on 3rd August, with the brand previously opening stores in Christchurch in late 2016 and Wellington in April this year. The new store with be a one-stop-beauty-shop with over 50 of the best global beauty brands on the shelves of the 236 square metre space.

It will be New Zealand’s largest Mecca Maxima store to date and located centrally at 191 Queen Street in Auckland’s CBD. Beauty junkies will be able to get their hands on Mecca Maxima’s exclusive brands in person for the first time with Urban Decay, Too Faced, Mario Badescu and Drunk Elephant on offer. MECCA fans will also be able to pick up well-acquainted favourites from NARS, By Terry, Stila, Hourglass and GlamGlow as well. For those after something even more different K-beauty staples Mizon, Chosungah22 and 16Brand will be available too.

Opening day for the new Auckland store will be a celebration from 9am with the iconic MECCA-mazing Envelope Wall offering beauty surprises for those who spend over $90. Shoppers can also be pampered and learn the latest tips and tricks at 12 stations for makeup applications and skin consultations. Mecca Maxima Auckland is the sixth in New Zealand’s MECCA store network of Cosmetica and Maxima beauty destinations and the company plans on continuing to expand its footprint here in New Zealand over the coming years.
