Hit or Miss? Jenny McCarthy, Cargo Pants

Cargo pants were big in the nineties, and I never thought I’d see this trend return, but recently, they have had a reconnaissance of sorts, albeit in a far more sophisticated form than the baggy camo-print cargos favoured by Sporty Spice circa '97.

Jenny’s cargos just don’t work, for a couple of reasons.  I don’t like the baggy style, as I think they look a bit dated and sloppy.  And the top with the neckpiece does not suit the pants at all - there is way too much going on in the one outfit.  It all looks a bit messy.

If you want to try this trend, I recommend wearing slim cargo pants – they look much more on trend and sophisticated than the baggy style Jenny is wearing.  I like this cute pair of cargos from Max, the slim fit is very chic, and they look great teamed with heels.  You can get away with a loose fitting top with a slim fit style like these, for an effortlessly cool, casual look.
