I’m not sure if everyone will agree, but for me, it’s a hit!

Firstly, fashion-wise, Whitney can do no wrong.  The girl’s got a great instinct for style – she knows how to keep it on trend, but not at the expense of what suits her.

Florals will be hot for summer, and so will bold prints, and this dress strikes a perfect balance between the two.  Whitney wears this bold print the right way, because she has kept the accessories to a bare minimum, just a simple watch and bracelet and a black handbag.  The key to wearing a bold print like this is to let the dress do the talking.  Keep accessories minimal and makeup not too over the top, like Whitney does.

Whitney also keeps the look young and fresh, by opting for the mini dress – if you’ve got the legs to get away with it, wear floral this way.

But if this print is just a bit too loud for your liking, try the floral trend in more muted tones, like pastels or black and white, like Eva Mendes’ dress below. 

Of if you’re still unsure, try wearing a pretty floral top with jeans and throw a blazer over the top so just a bit of the material shows through.  You’ll still be wearing the trend without feeling as though the print overwhelms you.  When wearing pastel florals, keep your outfit from looking too nanna-ish by toughening it up with a leather jacket or some combat boots.
