Pip Blogs: Front Row Toe
Front Row Toe
Summer is so close you can almost smell it. That means people to see, places to go – parties, weddings, launches and the like. I know Fashion Week is over, but what is a girl to wear when it’s time to peel off the opaques and show some Front Row Toe?
Some fierce, conversation starting heels are a must, and will update your wardrobe from drab to fab! It is also a great opportunity to liberate yourself from black and experiment with colour or leg lengthening beige or caramel tones. I’ve chosen some of the hottest heels for this summer 2010/11, check them out here:
I WANT CANDY – these lacquered candy floss coloured high cut sandals are just the thing to brighten up your mood – and don’t worry girls, they also come in black. AIMEE by Amber Rossi.

FUTURISTIC & FIERCE – these wrapped up uber platform wedges with back zips are so on-trend, its silly. They were also worn on the catwalk at Australian Fashion Week so there’s extra points. Also available in milky or caramel. WRAPPED by S.D.G

LASER CUT shoes are hot this season – and this is the coolest style I’ve seen by far – in buttery soft caramel leather they feel amazing too. IZZY by Ixos.

GAGA LICIOUS – channel Lady Gaga in these sexy bondage inspired platforms with mesh insert. Even better? They’re incredibly comfortable for a look this fierce. CECILY by Donald J Pliner

INTO THE BLUE – blue is a cool alternative to black this season – love these turquoise cleated sandals: IZABEL by Miezko

NEUTRAL TERRITORY – with all the pretty pastels out in the stores its nice to have a creamy neutral to throw on. The heel isn’t crazy high either – YALE by Mya Clara in beige suede.

TRIBAL CHIC is everywhere – we love the understated metallic camo platform on bone LIBERTY by Osvaldo Martini

MY PRECIOUS – these lush suede platforms feature an adorable amber stone and gold buckle – CAROLINE by Pepe Castell

I FEEL PRETTY – bows are everywhere too – is it the 50’s influence? I know this isn’t technically a shoe, but too pretty to resist – Clutch by Pepe Castell – in sapphire blue or black.

GET HIGH – these stiletto’s are unapologetically high – and bang on trend with the creamy vanilla shade, gold, zip, laser cut panels and wooden platform – FETISH by Stuart Weitzman
