Brady at NZFW 2010 – Review
Brady’s Autumn Winter 2011 Collection is all about Japanese Haikus. A Haiku is a form of poetry written, read and understood as an independent, a poem complete in itself, rather than part of a longer chain.

The Japanese theme featured throughout the collection with stand alone pieces like the golden silk draped shift and copper coloured flowing silk pants paired together and titled ‘noodles with chilli’. A singlet in the rusty orange colour of the koi fish gave mouth watering oriental pops of colour to a palette rich in deep wasabi greens.

Bold geometric printed dresses in cooler metal tones of grey, pewter and steel accompanied, chocolate browns, caramels and faithful black pieces.

Favourite looks in the show included the hugely comfortable looking yet highly fashionable Sensei tailored tracksuit in grey marl, and the beautifully draped and highly versatile charcoal Sake skirt.
