Live Life to CLASH

Inspired by music and subversive culture, in particular the British counter-cultural movement of the 60s and 70s, Clash Boutique offers the latest looks turning heads on the streets of the UK, New York and Sydney.

Filling a gap in the market for premium streetwear with an edge, Clash opened on Broadway, Newmarket in June and is home to an exciting line up of local and international men’s and women’s fashion, footwear and accessories.

Owner Nick Paulsen has handpicked the latest Clash range with an emphasis on individuality, quality and affordability.

“We want our customers to experiment a bit and have fun with fashion,” says Nick, who has a long career in fashion retail including most recently a stint with Huffer. “It is all  about clothes that are beautifully made but at the same time unique and even slightly unexpected,” says Nick.

The boutique has been designed to mimic the London Underground and like many of the brands it stocks, has a gritty, urban aesthetic.

And while the clothes have heaps of attitude, the salespeople don’t. Customers will be looked after by staff experienced in fashion design and styling including Shola Steele, an iD Dunedin Emerging Fashion Award-winner and former womenswear designer for global fashion giants such as Sisley.

Shola, who is also working on her own label, is joining Nick on the shop floor as Clash head stylist to ensure shoppers get the most out of their Clash experience.

With an expertly selected range of labels, Clash Boutique brings some exclusive labels to the New Zealand market such as Nick Campbell Eyewear, California based apparel company LnA, mens UK label Tuesday Night Band Practice and celeb favourite, Joe’s Jeans.

Joe’s Jeans boost a client list that includes Kate Moss, Jessica Biel, Heidi Klum, Beyonce, Ben Affleck and Drew Barrymore to name a few.

Clash stocks an impressive selection of colours from Joe’s Jeans iconic ‘55 Color Skinny’ as well as some beautiful and original printed denim skinnies.
