The label’s beginnings were in Sydney 1996 - the first collection being a stunning parade of finely crafted cotton print dresses each in itself a conversation piece.

Undeniably directional the label thrived in the Sydney scene and went on to be stocked in Melbourne, throughout Queensland Australia, and in the USA. After living and working in Sydney for many years, Jillian & Angela returned to New Zealand with their families in 2001.

From a workshop in the Waikato they develop and produce a unique and exclusive brand of women’s clothing that continually outshines.

Bi-annual collections follow themes which lurk strong in the background – historical reference, touches of irony, humour or social comment.

Collection themes often follow similar thought processes as do ‘Wars of the Roses’ Summer ‘11 flowing-on to ‘Treason’ Winter ’12.

The label is known for high quality craftsmanship and tailoring, superb fit, quirky detail, easy comfort and the wide use of natural fibre materials.
