The Style Doctor: sunnies our celebs SHOULD wear – Part Two

Seems there are more great sunglass brands available than ever before.

To help sort the aviators from the teashades*, we asked Style Doctor Jackie O’Fee (www.signaturestyle.co.nz) to recommend styles for some of our most familiar New Zealand faces.

Trelise Cooper:  Jackie says “Look at Trelise Cooper, she's just bubbles and light!  She can definitely have a lot of fun with her choice of sunglasses.  I love this Miu Miu frame for her, because it’s not too heavy and the light colours matched those gorgeous curls.  Trelise can wear a larger frame quite successfully because she's not a waif.

David Dallas:  “David has quite soft features, he's a beautiful man.  This RayBan frame won't overwhelm his fine features, but at the same time it has a manly vibe with a little touch of sport.

Kate Sylvester:  Jackie says “Kate has quite a long face so she can carry a bigger frame.  I like the touch of elegance these Vogue have with the knot at the arm, and the blended tint would sit her Kate’s colouring.

Bret McKenzie:  Bret is quite fine featured – you don't want to overwhelm that with anything too strong.  I like the softness of these Tommy Hilfiger sunglasses for Bret, and the simple arm – he has a direct gaze and an elegance which these will complement.

Sara Tetro:  She could wear anything!  Seriously, look at her.  These Sass and Bide sunglasses would be a step out for her because she is quite understated in her style – and a bit of fun.
