Bed manufacturer Sealy is calling on New Zealanders to get in to bed for a good cause this October.

For the second consecutive year, Sealy is supporting the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF) with help from four leading creative local talents.

Masters in their own fields, Artist ASKEW ONE (Elliot O’Donnell), fashion designers Denise L’Estrange-Corbet from WORLD and Juliette Hogan, along with interior designer LeeAnn Yare have now mastered the art of sleep by designing a bespoke fabric panel for a Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite bed.

Juliette Hogan mixes animal print with her love for monochrome, designing a bed that delivers a luxe revival of the print we all love. Inspired by her upcoming winter ‘15 collection, Juliette’s design is gorgeous, yet understated.

One of New Zealand’s leading interior stylists, LeeAnn Yare’s inspiration comes from her most recent bed linen range for Collected. Often working with chevron, triangles and dots LeeAnn has a thing for simple yet bold graphic shapes.  For her one-off piece she really wanted to turn up the volume.

Recognised worldwide for his unique and skilled approach to graffiti art Askew One has more than 20-years’ experience.  He is self-taught in graphic design, illustration, photography, publishing, directing and editing music. videos.

Looking closely at his design, you can see the shell necklaces and hibiscus flowers Askew has spray-painted for his geometric piece. In a time of extensive digital production, he pulls back his approach to ‘construct’ his art – focusing more on the props and accessories.

Denise L'Estrange-Corbet has a playful, fearless approach to design. Not only a purveyor of extraordinary style, she is also the first female to be awarded a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her services to fashion design.

Denise’s inspiration behind her design was to create something ‘fun’, so bright and bold fabric was an obvious choice. Far from safe, the outcome is an eccentric and eclectic polka-dot cover that perfectly captures the essence of WORLD.

The four Exquisite beds will be listed on TradeMe between 15 and 28 October with the entire proceeds donated to the NZBCF to help fund research and support women with breast cancer.
