Harris Tapper Joins The Roster for NZFW 2025

Harris Tapper is set to make waves with their inaugural runway show at New Zealand Fashion Week 2025.

This much-anticipated debut will take place in an intimate, off-site venue during NZFW, marking a thrilling milestone for the brand and the event, and spotlighting Harris Tapper’s journey from sharp shirting roots to ready-to-wear acclaim.

Founded in 2017 by Sarah Harris Gould and Lauren Tapper, Harris Tapper began as a capsule of 12 meticulously tailored shirts. What started as a response to a gap in quality shirting quickly soared—expanding into suiting, silk dresses, sleek knitwear, and sculptural minimalism. With Sarah’s background in buying and brand management (local and London-based) and Lauren’s experience in design and PR, the duo honed a brand language of “subversive femininity and sculptural minimalism” designed for the modern career-woman.

Today, Harris Tapper is stocked across multiple New Zealand boutiques—such as Scotties, Muse Boutique, Sisters & Co—and online via True Store and Lynn Woods. They’ve also crossed the Tasman, securing a dedicated stockist in Melbourne’s The New Trend, where their SS25 collection launched in February 2025 to applause from fashion insiders. This Pre‑Fall 2025 range, inspired by Edward Hopper and mid‑20th-century glamour, received glowing write-ups for its structured suiting, velvet mesh, and couture-like draping.

Venue and show details will be revealed soon.
