Kagi crafts with kids for Mothers Day

A handmade piece of jewellery is a heartfelt gift that can be treasured forever. With this in mind, Kagi has recently hosted a special craft event for children from the Child Cancer Foundation.

The event ‘Jewels for Mum’ is part of the Kagi for Kids campaign and was held at the Child Cancer Foundation’s (CCF) Family Place. Children who have been affected by cancer were given the chance to create a unique bracelet for their Mums for Mother’s Day.

With beads and equipment supplied by Kagi, founder Kat Gee and her design team were on hand to assist and offer their expertise.

Kagi for Kids is a collaborative campaign with Kagi and CCF. Kagi has created a one-off turquoise friendship bracelet that will be sold for $69, with $10 from each sale going directly to the charity. The campaign, to be held during the month of May, hopes to raise awareness and money for the foundation's work supporting children and families affected by cancer.

Actress Amanda Billing ambassador for CCF has generously volunteered to front this campaign, which also features young CCF ambassadors Lulu Hughes and Emilie Johns.

The Kagi for Kids friendship bracelets are a fashionable way to show support for CCF and the children and families in need. Just 1,000 of these bracelets will be available during May through selected retailers nationwide or through the Kagi online store.
