New Zealand women’s fashion brand Repertoire is giving its popular annual fashion events in Auckland and Tauranga a charity focus in 2012, giving proceeds from this month’s shows to women’s cancer charity Look Good Feel Better.
Alongside Bella Vi providing makeup for the events, Repertoire decided to select a charity that supported women and was close to the brand’s heart. “This year seemed the perfect time to give something back to an organisation we feel passionately about,” Repertoire Director Debi Bowker said.
“We employ and work alongside amazing women every day so a women’s charity was an obvious choice for Repertoire. We all know a woman or of women that have been through the cancer journey or have been touched by this disease in some way. We’re proud to be able to help more women attend and access Look Good Feel Better workshops all over the country,” Bowker adds.
Look Good Feel Better General Manager Yvonne Brownlie is honoured that Repertoire selected the charity for these events. “This is a wonderful collaboration by Repertoire and Bella Vi and we are very grateful for the support they’re giving to the charity and to women in New Zealand living with cancer,” Brownlie said.
Auckland hosts the final show of three on Tuesday 27th March at 6:30pm at the Spencer on Byron where Repertoire’s Winter 2012 collection will be showcased, including a special appearance by Creative Director Lee Kleiman and Repertoire stylist Meghan Bowker to talk through season trends and design inspirations.
The first two shows will be held in Tauranga on Wednesday 21st March (12:30pm and 6:30pm).
Proceeds from all three shows will be given to Look Good Feel Better. Those who can’t attend but wish to contribute to the fundraising effort can buy a ticket as a donation to the charity which puts you in the draw to win great prizes.
