Did you know that 3,300+ women in News Zealand are diagnosed with breast cancer every year? 11% of the women diagnosed in New Zealand are under the age of 45 and 1 in 6 Kiwi women under 45 have admitted to having never checked their breasts for changes?

These stats are alarming and ghd has recognised that Kiwi women need more encouragement to get checked. The brand are no strangers to supporting breast cancer awareness and this month is no different, with ghd launching their 17th annual limited-edition pink collection, and $20 from the sale of every tool going to support the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation this month.

Having already raised over $20 million globally for breast cancer charities, ghd are proud to once again back this important cause, which is the most common cancer for Kiwi women. An evolution of 2020’s successful Take Control Now campaign, ghd has partnered with eight incredible muses for the 2021 campaign, to communicate a powerful and emotional message around the importance of self checking for both yourself and your loved ones. The limited-edition collection features the campaign messaging Take Control Now on the styling tools, providing women with a regular reminder to self-check for signs of breast cancer. Every. Single. Month.

Each tool in the pink collection has been designed to feature the Take Control Now message so that every single month you remember to take control now and check your breasts for not only yourself but for your loved ones as well.

The collection includes the award-winning ghd platinum+™ styler, ghd gold® styler and ghd helios™ professional hairdryer and is available for purchase online now and at leading ghd retailers nationwide.
