Marle’s newest collection features a timeless elegance
It’s all about the subtle, understated details with the second drop of Marle’s spring collection, Ladder to the Moon available in-store and online now.
There’s a timeless elegance about the pieces, which, as always, have been thoughtfully designed around exclusively natural fibres and fabric. The colour palette dances across ink, violet, and ivory, with pecan and oat pairing with dark neutrals, textural stripes, and woven checks.
Delicately draped tops, off-the-shoulder styles, and oversized silhouettes contrast with more structured pieces. This skilful balance of luxuriously natural fabrics, varying silhouettes, and unexpected design details round out a strong collection that feels both effortless and confident.
New to this drop and jewel of the crown (in our humble opinion) is the delectably feminine Franca Dress – eye-catching for its three exaggerated gathered tiers with contrast binding and square neckline and available in black or pecan.
Meanwhile, for the ultimate in luxurious simplicity, the full-length silk Valentin pant features a high waist and straight leg in Marle’s signature sand-washed silk, finished with a rouleau tie and loop detailing around the waist.
“From the fit to the finish to the way you feel in a piece, when I first started designing, I was taught that the little details were what matters most and that continues to be something that inspires every collection,” says Marle Creative Director and Founder Juliet Souter.
“We ruminate over the smallest of things – like French seams, flat felled seams, bound edges, and internal binding to ensure that Marle is always so much more than it seems.
“Marle isn’t about the next best thing. It’s a conscious brand built on the desire for women to feel good about themselves. I want them to fall in love with how a piece looks but then, to go deeper. I want them to appreciate the little things, the seemingly insignificant things, and to take notice of how they feel when they are wearing Marle,” says Juliet.
