Shjark delivers soft tailoring for a relaxed uncomplicated summer

Shjark

Uncomplicated silhouettes, classic signature tailoring, and a hint of soft femininity – the newest collection (No.14) from New Zealand label Shjark and designer Amber Gardner draws its inspiration from the English countryside. While originally designed for running through wildflower meadows, it’s just as comfortable parading through the urban jungle, with a hint of rock ‘n roll in the subtle details adding a discreet edge.

In true Shjark style, each piece is clearly considered and worthy of its place in a capsule wardrobe where separates can be mixed, matched, and timelessly re-worn through the changing seasons.

Lightweight fabrics, soft structure, and whimsical gathered dresses and layerable blouses are elevated through thoughtful detailing and flattering silhouettes.

A breath of fresh air, the modern colour palette speaks to a yearning for bliss and calm as we move through the later months of the year. Featuring lust-worthy chocolate, tan, and deep forest green, each individual piece pairs effortlessly with fresh hues of lilac, buttercup, and spearmint. We’re also strangely drawn to the lush orchid shade that is perhaps the perfect marriage of pink and lilac and a surprisingly successful partnership with tan.

Designed and made in New Zealand, Shjark works with trusted local manufacturers and suppliers to deliver its carefully considered collection, which is available at selected stockists and online now.
