Silk&Steel have launched the brand’s latest jewellery collection which is available online and at selected stockists. Designer Sarah Cotterall was inspired by the iconic designers and supermodels of ’90s fashion and the collection is appropriately titled Muse. The chic new range is subtly sexy with a playful feel and offers the perfect selection of jewellery for dressing up.

Drawn to a striking 1995 image of Linda Evangelista layered with stacks of gold chains for Harper’s Bazaar, Sarah wanted to nod to an era where less was certainly not more. This collection is full of those eye-catching pieces with freshwater pearls and chunky chains taking centre stage.

A hero piece is the Eva Necklace with a large freshwater baroque keshi pearl which has been hand picked and styled with Silk&Steel’s signature spike. Layered with the Baroque Choker of beautiful baroque pearls it creates a stunning statement look. Each piece is carefully crafted and designed to be a modern heirloom. The Muse pieces of the range include bold chains in necklace, choker and bracelet styles which are easily layered with other Silk&Steel pieces or can be worn alone for a sophisticated look.

The accompanying Silk&Steel campaign was shot by talented photographer Cam Neate and features the gorgeous Emma Boyd in a winsome series of images that evoke their 90’s inspiration. Modern glamour has never looked more appealing.
