Madly Sweetly’s latest collection for Autumn/Winter 2018 is in stores now and the contemporary new range took inspiration from the energy and joy of music. Designer Jolanta Kordonski-Dixon drew from a mash-up of everything from 1930s jazz to 1970s disco making for a fascinating jumping off point. At its heart the collection has the playful signature that the designer has established over the past couple of seasons with colourful prints and relaxed silhouettes.
This season it’s all about winter warmth done with style that encompasses the two concepts of the brand: ‘madly’ – the fun, vibrant aspect, and ‘sweetly’ – the softer, prettier side. Cosy cashmere blend knits, casual denim and charming dresses make for easy to layer looks that are great for chilly days. Bold prints, fun stripes and polka dots add to the joyful feeling of this collection that is a perfect foil for the grey weather. The looks are wonderfully accessorised with warm knitted scarves and are easily dressed up or down for work and play. There’s certainly lots to love about Madly Sweetly’s latest offering.
