Wilson Trollope’s new Here & There collection is comprised of understated pieces to transform any wardrobe and transport you to your happy place. Founder and designer Annabelle Wilson was inspired by escapism – a desire to explore afresh or return to Cinque Terra sunsets and Parisian riverbanks.

“[Here & There] draws on resilience and unapologetic optimism,” says Annabelle. “It is designed to take you away to your happy place every day. To escape, and remind you of all the joyful things that there are to celebrate in the world.”

There is a pleasant irony in the designer’s ability to create structured pieces that inspire freedom and prompt a travelling mind. The Rio Dress is a perfect example, with a fitted bodice, darts, and a flowy half-circle skirt that brings the garment to life. Made of linen, the Rio Dress is the perfect breathable addition to any summer wardrobe.

Classic stripes are a collection feature, most notably appearing on the Azure Dress. The Azure Dress in Burgundy is an interesting choice, hinting back to Wilson Trollope’s Autumn/Winter 2020 collection palette, inspired by artist Edward Hopper. Featuring a V-neck, curved sleeves, and a cinched waist, the Azure Dress creates a feminine silhouette that the brand is renowned for.

The cropped Bike Away Jacket is another collection favourite, made with a twist. The pink thread of the biker has a slight shimmer that sets the piece apart and alludes to Annabelle’s dreamy inspirations. The Bike Away Jacket can be styled with a dress or pants to elevate any look.

The first release of Here & There is available in store and online now.
