Millicent came through in true style at its Reflection showcase which was Paula Shepherd’s (the lady behind Millicent) debut runway launch for the labels SS’14 Collection.
Contemporary sophistication; the Reflection Collection showcased clean cut feminine and beautifully stylish pieces in gorgeous silks and brocades that are easy to wear and ‘will make women feel beautiful all the time’. Black, pink, yellow and fluorescent green were the colours on the runway of the timeless Reflection showcase.

I was lucky enough to quickly catch up with Paula Shepherd. Here’s how she found the inspiration for her SS’14 Collection…
“My inspiration starts with the fabric really. Once I fall in love with a print… that will be the cornerstone for the collection. That’s how it was with the brocades fabric in this collection and from there I decided it [the Millicent SS’14 Collection] was going to be a 1960s Italia look. I also think a lot about people’s shapes. I just want a woman to put on a Millicent dress or a Millicent top and just feel beautiful and know they look great and sophisticated as well- that’s what is really important.”
