NZ Fashion Policed

The E! Channel hit New Zealand in style, thanks in part to guest star George Kotsiopoulos from Fashion Police, who flew in to mingle with the countries best-dressed and ‘it’ crowd.

It was hard to define who were industry, and who were the celebrities, such was the level of style and glamour at the party. It seems George had a strong influence on NZ before he had even touched the ground.

The Pop of Culture #EChannelPartyNZ was held at Mantells on the Water, one of Auckland’s premier party venues. As soon as we walked in, we all knew this night was going to be a special one.

Guests walked down the red carpet, had their photos taken against the E! Channel screen, and wandered into a decadent scene that was filled with pink (the E! Channel colour of choice!) hydrangeas, rose petals, giant cushions, and the general opulence you’d expect at a bash in L.A.

As the party-people mingled over Moet and oysters, suddenly there was George – on stage in all his no-socks glory. In between interviews with 7 Sharp live on TV, he spun yarns of Joan’s hilarity on set, and told us all how honoured he was to be here.

He had the room eating from his hands, and then very quickly,  lining up to get photos with him.

I was lucky enough to nab a photo with the man of the moment, after he told me how beautiful I looked. He probably tells all the girls that, but I’ll re-live that compliment and eye contact forever.

To keep up with George, Joan, Kelly, Giuliana and the rest of the E! Channel gang (hello, The Soup anyone?!) download the E! Channel app. Then you’ll be able to take your little friends with you everywhere you go, and never get stuck for style advice again.
