She has built a dedicated community by championing accessible style and sharing glimpses into her everyday life with her husband and two adorable sausage dogs – from favourite food and coffee spots to the occasional travel moment.
This year marks Jessie’s return to the FashioNZ Creators Power List, following a standout 2024 where she was also named Fashion Quarterly’s Content Creator of the Year.
Towards the end of last year, she openly documented her stage 2 breast cancer journey to raise awareness, and is now proudly cancer free. That experience shaped a slower, more intentional way of creating and inspired her move south, where she launched Slightly Unkept – a home-focused Instagram account celebrating cosy corners, ongoing renovations, and the charm of her 1930s bungalow.
Recently, Jessie has expanded her creative practice into styling, beginning with a guest role for Metropol’s Cup and Show Week issue. She continues to grow her online presence in ways that feel real, comforting, and joyfully grounded.
