Since entering the industry at twenty, in at time where styling was a career hardly heard of, Karen has established herself as New Zealand’s most prominent and internationally recognised stylist.

Adding photography and costume design to her repertoire along the way, Karen continues to be an industry leader counting clients like Karen Walker and Brad Pitt in her recent ventures. Recognised by her all time favourite magazine Vogue Italia in 2013, taking out a place of twelve in the world for her portfolio, she travelled to Milan to meet the team behind the world’s most iconic magazine, cementing herself as internationally acclaimed both as a fashion photographer and stylist.
Karen’s most recent runway collaboration with leading New Zealand designer Karen Walker and Adidas for Fashion Week 2025 was an absolute triumph and singled her out in the coverage for her chaotic and joyous styling. She continues to collaborate with the Karen Walker brand and will next be working on the National Gallery of Victoria’s much anticipated black tie event to launch the major world premiere of the Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo exhibition this December.
