This NZ wool blanket sold out in 10 minutes – mark your calendars for the next release

A new collection from Noa Blanket Co is coming and you really won’t want to miss out

With a striking campaign shot by Aotearoa photographer and friend of FashioNZ Holly Sarah Burgess (Ngāpuhi and Te Ātihaunui-a-Pāpārangi) comes the dawning of a new fashion and home decor obsession.

Te Aparautaki, the latest collection of artisanal wool blankets by Noa Blanket Co is the very definition of exceptional craftsmanship, brought to life through a breathtaking series of masculine-meets-feminine imagery.

“To be purpose driven is to be community driven. For life to be meaningful, it must enrich the lives of more than just the individual. A personal pursuit for communal benefit and collective wellbeing, that’s the nature and precedence that has been left for us by our predecessors,” says Noa Blanket Co founder Josh Te Kani on the collection, which draws inspiration from understanding passed down by ancestors.

Wrapped around musician Teeks (Ngāpuhi and Tauranga Moana) and model Devon Toi (Ngāpuhi), with clothing by Kiri Nathan, feast your eyes on the 100% woven New Zealand wool textures, shot against the evocative surroundings of Rangiriri Pā by Holly, and in a private Mount Maunganui residence by Ben Parry.

But don’t indulge too long – Noa Blanket Co’s previous collection sold out online in just 10 minutes. And once they’re gone, they’re gone.

On sale Sunday November 5, mark your calendars now.
