Photo dump: Paris Fashion Week? More like Paris Foot Week

FNZ’s resident Frenchie and long-time foot fetishist shares a shoe dispatch direct from Paris Fashion Week.

Death, taxes and fashion week peacocks. Three of life’s inevitabilities. Another is that, of all the fashion centres of the world, it’s Paris that can be counted on to deliver a mélange of classic and chic meets avant-garde street style, over and over again.

In a city swarming with locals and visitors always on-the-go, the stampede outside PFW events makes for a total tapestry of rather stylish people. Are they PFW-goers? Are they tastefully-taloned (read: French for ‘heels’, not ‘claws’) locals caught in the kerfuffle? Who knows.

What we do know is that our senior writer Ava Wardecki (currently stationed in the city of lights) couldn’t keep her eyes off the ground – or other people’s feet out of her camera roll. And so, dotted among the city’s cigarette butts and questionable sidewalk stains, she shares the best below-the-ankle action from Paris Fashion Week.
