New Zealand Fashion Week 2025 opened with a fresh collaboration between iconic designer Juliette Hogan and homegrown skincare brand RAAIE, setting the tone for radiance both on and off the runway.
Backstage at Hogan’s show in Shed 10, RAAIE unveiled its latest innovation: the Tranquillity Water Activating Mist. Powered by volcanic thermal water, the mist gave models a dose of deep hydration, ensuring they stepped onto the runway with glowing, luminous skin.
Head Artist Josie Wignall led the beauty direction, describing the final look as “Radiance Refined” — dewy complexions, soft tones, and subtle light play that let Hogan’s designs shine. The mist was supported by RAAIE’s cult essentials: the Morning Dew Vitamin C Serum for brightness and the Cocoon Ceramide Cream for long-lasting nourishment.
“Prepping with Tranquillity Water is key — a whisper of fine mist activates instant hydration and glow,” Wignall explained. “It settles seamlessly onto the skin and over makeup, leaving behind a fresh, lit-from-within glow.”
RAAIE founder Katey Mandy shared that the mist was designed to go deeper than surface hydration:
“Our intention was to distil hydration science into a single intelligent spray. This mist both hydrates and seals in moisture, integrating with the skin’s natural rhythm.”
Formulated in New Zealand with clinically studied actives, volcanic water, and resilient botanicals, the Tranquillity Water Activating Mist embodied RAAIE’s ethos of less but better.
As the first backstage beauty launch of the week, the collaboration cemented RAAIE as the brand on everyone’s lips — and faces — at NZFW 2025.
The Tranquillity Water Activating Mist will be available from September 18, 2025.
