When designer Biddie Cooksley launched Tuesday Label in 2015, it was an almost natural progression of a lifetime immersed in the fashion industry.
Having grown up in a family dedicated to manufacturing, the design bug bit early and Biddie started carving out her own career from a young age.
Tuesday Label has the essence of Biddie infused in every element, from her unapologetically feminine designs to an unwavering commitment to luscious fabrics and silhouettes and an absolute demand for excellence.
With a proud legacy of delivering timeless pieces with modern dressing in mind, 2023 is a benchmark year for Tuesday Label with the newest collection, The Varsity Collection, revealed in the brand’s first flagship store in Ponsonby.
“We’ve always had our sights on Ponsonby, and I’ve coveted the cute corner site for years,” says Biddie. “The wait for the perfect store was worth it – the space is so welcoming and inviting. The energy is incredible, the light is beautiful.”

coinciding with the launch of Tuesday’s eagerly anticipated winter range, The Varsity Collection.
The Varsity Collection came about following a trip to the US after lockdown last year, where Biddie drew inspiration from the classic US college experience.
A fundamental part of social culture, American ‘dorm life’ embraces a heady, spirited balance of going out and staying in. This perfect balance inspired Tuesday’s autumn/winter season, where life fits in around the colder weather and socialising is interspersed with nights rugged up on the couch.
The Varsity Collection features vintage-influenced tees with heritage graphic prints: easy, relaxed dresses to take you anywhere and everywhere, pants that perfectly strike a balance between comfy and cool, fun, snuggly knitwear for the sports sidelines, bold, signature suiting for smarter days, and statement coats to throw on and go.
